  • 1 14 oz bag coleslaw mix (or shredded cabbage + carrots)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha or hot sauce optional
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Cook the meat
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat sesame oil. Add ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  • Add aromatics
  • Stir in diced onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the veggies
  • Add coleslaw mix to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for 5–7 minutes until the cabbage is tender but not mushy.
  • Season and finish
  • Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha if using. Taste and adjust seasoning. Cook another minute or two.
  • Garnish and serve
  • Remove from heat, top with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot!
